Great food!!! Really enjoyed eating at this place. The staff was amazing and really helpful. The ambiance itself was pretty basic but the food is worth coming for. I really enjoy Mediterranean food so I am often picky about it, but Garlic managed to impress me. We tried lots of different dishes but my favorite was the lahmacun. OMG, I loved it. Usually I have my go to place for Lahmacun in Livermore, however, I decided to give this one a try. And it did not disappoint. Another significant dish was the pide, but unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the lahmacun. It was a little dry. For dessert, we had Turkish baklava. I am a huge fan of baklava and I really liked Garlic's ones. I mean, it was a little dry.... But still good enough for a restaurant that is not really dessert oriented. Highly recommend checking it out.

We ordered for delivery - an Afghan pizza (lahmacun) and an adona kabob. If you've never tried lahmacun, you should definitely give it a try. It's lavash bread made from scratch with ground beef and a light tomatoe sauce baked in. It is not really "pizza" in the Italian sense and it isn't cheesy, but it's fantastic. It's somewhere between an appetizer and a meal - probably best for two people to share as an appetizer. The Adana kabob meal is a singular kabob with a small side salad, a bit is hummus, and babaganoush (eggplant dip). I really loved the babaganoush! The kebab was good but not amazing. However, I acknowledge that everything would have tasted better in the restaurant when it was straight out of the kitchen. Doordash did a good job, but still... hot and fresh out of the oven is always best. I think the Afghan pizza would have had a crispier crust as well if it was served in the restaurant. A styrofoam to go dish holds in steam and textures change a bit. Still... I definantly recommend trying this place and experiencing the Afghan pizza.

"Simple good food though not a thrill, At Garlic Mediterranean Grill." The fare at Garlic is very competent. Shaved meats are tasty, the hummus creamy with a hint of kick, the salad refreshing. Standard for Mediterranean food -- one really needs to mess up badly to make these time proven recipes taste bad. And Garlic does not mess up. Service is polite and extremely quick. Ambience is airy and anonymous... exactly what one needs sometimes. A solid neighbourhood spot for a quiet meal. True score: 8.0 / 10. Return? YES.

cute & clean mediterranean spot with great service! i walked in on a friday around 11am to grab a gyro wrap. it wasn't crowded so service was very fast and the two people at the counter were super friendly. i had the beef & lamb gyro wrap, which includes lavash (?), meat, sauce, and fresh veggies. it's not super large but still decently priced for the size (at least for this economy lol) i liked how light but filling & delicious it was! i took the other half of my wrap to go and the employees wrapped it up for me and gave me a turkish delight :)) overall had a great experience here, definitely a good choice for a casual lunch or ordering takeout/delivery.

First time trying lahmacun, (Turkish, Lebanese, Armenian:very debated apparently version of a pizza.) Normally not a fan of bell peppers, but it was diced or minced into such small pieces the texture was not bothersome for me. But, man was it delicious, it is not too overwhelming but the addition of the lettuce and lemon help really the balance of the taste. The breading is crisp and has a nice cracker like crunch to it. The falafels were also very tasty, I like the sauce that they gave with the falafel, I believe it was yogrut and garlic based but also very tasty it goes well with the freshly cooked and crunchy exterior of the falafel with the nice hot filling inside. The wrap was good, solid. But I definitely recommend you come and try this place, it is good.

Found this place through Yelp while on a work trip and I found it to be quite tasty. I ordered a Chicken Shish Kebab Plate, which came with chicken, rice, side salad, hummus, and bread. The dish felt very healthy and clean with really good flavors. The side salad had a citrusy dressing which I found quite refreshing to balance out the chicken and rice. Hummus was creamy and light and paired very well with the warm bread. This felt like a balanced home meal that one craves after a long day. Friendly and fast service and a clean and welcoming environment. Not pictured: I got a baklava to go and it was the perfect little sweet treat after dinner. Worth the visit if you want tasty, healthy food.
